This song was written during and immediately after the #CityStreetsAndTangledWebs European tour of 2017.

I found myself between two minds during that time, and these lyrics represent my attempt to reconcile them. On one hand - I was totally engrossed by the insanity of the wild ride upon which I found myself... on the other, excited and terrified by the potential that awaited back home.

i'm gonna play straight through last call. i think i finally lost what little grip was tugging down on my bottom lip.
i'd finally fallen off that sandbag wall. that's when she started gaining steam off the shore of me.

by the time i left Bavaria, i was very unwound.
i got stoned in the Netherlands, all alone in Amsterdam.
